These are the poems I wrote on my own. Besides ranting all the time, I use these to vent as well. It helps me get things to cool off. Anyway, here they are. Do me a favor and don't take them. It's not nice at all. If you want to quote them or something, do give credit. It won't take you long or give you guilty feelings, I promise. X3

Alternate World
I'm in my alternate world
So don't say a word
When I am there
I don't have a care
Because there is no fear
I'd rather be there than here
The Mysterious Man
I saw a man the other day
He was there again yesterday
He wasn?t here today
I'm afraid he's gone away
Forgotten Here
They forgot me here
Here alone in constant fear
And I can't even call upon you
The one who remembers me
'Cause you're so far away
Another day left on this stoop
Cause they forgot me here
And you won't be there
To wipe away the tears
Or comfort the lonley
But when they finally do come
I'll have to forgive them
'Cause I think I'd forget me too
Second Place
Always second best
Always an almost
Not as good as the rest
There was never anything I could do
That someone couldn't do better
Ask them all, and they'll say
It's not bad, it doesn't matter
But it does to me
"The best" just inches away
Yet "best" I could never be
Mirrors Shatter
There's nothing worse than this place
A hideous photograph
An ugly face
And mirrors shatter
Children will cry
Leaves will shrivel
They all die
Same
You're sitting alone in your room
In the dark
You and your monitor
The screen the only light
And you sit in your three by four space that you're conscious to
The music parting you from society
That cyber Solitare separating you
Even further
And you're waiting
Waiting for someone
Anyone
To reply to something you had typed
Ages ago
You sit
You wait
Your mouse clicking away
Checking, sighing, waiting
It never dawns on you
This is what you do
This is what you'll be doing tomorrow
Reading from phantoms
D-E-A-T-H
451208
That's my number
Between 12965 and 52051492025
I'll be lowered down
Into darkness
It's not any different
From the time I moved about
freely
Nail that slider shut
Not rain nor sunshine
penetrate
My action was not so great
But neither a mistake
Carve that truthful code
Into the door without a river
of remorse
My number is me now
451208
Crimson Crier
That's what you do day in and day out
Sit there and pout
For life isn't a great thing
And I am your friend with a great grin
Try it, Crimson Crier
Go a little higher
Not there; you haven't hit the mark
Wrong; go again from the start
Now you've got it
Your carpet, red tint it
O, but what do you care?
It's them that weren't fair
You'll fall to the floor
You can't hear them yell anymore
Left Behind
Lying on the cold, dead grass
Her destination
As far away as the sky
And getting farther
Lonliness will slowly consume her
And make her like the grass
Cold, dead, and left behind
Would You?
If I said the world was flat and thin
Would you just as easily give in?
Or would you sail to the ends of the Earth
With bits of bravery in your grin?
If I said they all lied to you
Would you say that's a lie I coo?
Or would you search all over
For the one person that is true?
If I said there is death all around
Would you accept the truth I had found?
Or would you laugh in my face
And tell me that's quite profound?
If I said you live in the best of places
Would you then see no quail between the races?
Or would you look to the East
And show me all those sad faces?
If I said you should think on your own today
Would you nod and blindly obey?
Or would you tell me that
You do just that every single day?
Painting Pictures with Words
Painting pictures in your mind
A fabulous fantasy you will find
A young, yellow sun
A rain ready to run
Hawks hiding for the right moment
Gliding gracefully from the summit
Jewelry jiggling from your wrist
Holding sizzling cider you can't resist
Popping pompous bubbles in air
Above lovely lillies pretty and fair
And dainty daisies dancing for us
These fair fields reign victorious
You oppose these open doors
Only looking lonely at the floors
What is True Love?
What is true love?
A good feeling
A sort of high I reach
when you walk into the room
It is when
I don’t feel like ever
leaving until you do
When there is
no other place for me
except here with you
And when I finally say it
I love you
I feel it would be
common sense
It would be like
telling you the sun is bright
It would be like
saying the water is cool
to the touch
And I don’t feel
like I could say anything
that would be as true
The Ocean Rolls On
The ocean rolls on
Pushed back and forth
Over the
White sand
Rocks are pulled away
And then
Replaced
The ocean rolls on
Under a darkening
Sky
The sun departs so
Slowly
Pink and violet give way
To navy
Yet
The ocean rolls on
Door
I see a door
Over there
It's closed now
Tight and locked
I see the darkness
Underneath and beyond
Its wood panels
But
Should I go through
That darkness is
No longer
A mystery
This is Me
They want me to change everything that is me
Want me to join them in conformity
Throw away my wondrous interest sea
Show the world my twisted deformity
Take away everything I cherish most
Replace them all with things they like to do
It will make me a haunting, empty ghost
I will be changed but never made anew
Managing, writing, reading, and drawing
Behind a screen I am always hiding
I'd choose that than social-ladder clawing
Or just chillin' and bicycle riding
This is all my originality
It makes up all my personality
NY shoe
I'm a New York shoe
Fit for business
The feet that wear me
Seem to go everywhere
The subway
The sidewalk
Buses, trains, and ferries
I see all types of floors
Short carpet, concrete, tile
And every once in a while
-grass!
The world above me is so tall
I can barely see the tops
Of those skyscrapers
But the sun shines on them
Like they don't get dirty
Well, not as dirty as me
Down here I deal with gunk
I can't quite classify
Gum, mud, sewerage
Scrap paper, thrown food, dropped coins
Dust and pidgeon droppings
Up there
They don't deal with that
But hey
I'm shoes
Everyone's got shoes
But skyscrapers?
Owned by no one
Owned only for a second
By a spectator's eye
ParallelWe all walk our own crystal path
We walk alone through space
I
Can make my own light
Through the darkness
I can see others’ lights
Though they are far and distant
They fly through space
Slow
And then quick
I can feel their radiance
That small flicker of heat
Effecting my path slightly
Though this void is like a tunnel
Separating us
Like thick walls, it now seems
I had walked through space alone
For I had not seen you there
Behind me
Until you caught up
You were so close
I could feel your hand
Brush up against mine
You were walking the path parallel to mine
And your light
Illuminates this tunnel
It brightens this path that had once
Been dull
That had once
Separated me
From all the other lights
Now, please
Do not fledge on ahead
Bright, shooting star
Your radiance
Your path
Now guides this one’s path
